Technical Architect

looking for a technical architect who can go onsite with our largest customers, and
help them deploy Dropbox for Business into their enterprise with confidence and
full support.
This person will have a deep background in enterprise architecture, including
security apps, business apps , and document workflow. This person will also have a
strong customer presence and a proven record of working with Fortune 500
companies and delivering results.

Responsibilities

Interacts with both technical and non-technical customers, attains relevant technical and business requirements, analyzes information and designs comprehensive solutions
Manages customer communications, conflicts, and negotiations related to overall solutions design
Develops visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude
Develops detailed configuration specifications documentation targeted to technical consultants
Conducts solutions presentations and obtains customer acceptance to solution design
Validates solutions after built and provides solution walkthrough with customer. Guides customer through solution deployment
Travels to client sites for onsite discovery and solutions presentations - not expected to exceed 25%

Requirements

BA/BS (Business, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree preferred) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
Strong aptitude toward communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids. Ability to conceptualize and design sophisticated wireframes, workflows, and diagrams
Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills with technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences
Experience in the interactive marketing industry preferred
Experience developing SQL and experience with a RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
Familiarity with client side programming languages such as .NET, JAVA, PHP, Ruby, C#, C++, Visual Basic, Python
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics preferred
Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, data encryption preferred
