Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist, Dropbox for Business

The SEM Specialist will join the fast growing Dropbox for Business marketing team and drive global adoption. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of the end-to-end marketing funnel, performance marketing, sales pipeline, landing page optimization, analytics and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage SEM operations and planning.
  • Scale global SEM operations to support key business initiatives including customer acquisition, branding, and lead generation.
  • Apply data based optimizations to accounts, including campaign management, keyword expansion, bid optimization, ad copy testing and landing page testing to drive KPIs.
  • Determine and implement the suite of tools, automation and processes necessary for scale.
  • Communicate learnings and consumer insights garnered through SEM to cross functional teams and partners throughout the company.
  • Work closely with product marketing, engineering and design to optimize the end-to-end funnel.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technology and trends in SEM and make sure that Dropbox is an early adopter where relevant.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in online marketing. Minimum 1-year in operational SEM role.
  • Self starter, with a passion for building.
  • Demonstrated success presenting large datasets in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action.
  • Proficiency in in SQL, HiveQL, or a related query language.
  • Experience scoping and running landing page tests. Operational understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Global SEM experience a plus.
  • Experience in SEO, display, retargeting, social ads, email or affiliate a plus.
  • B2B or SaaS marketing experience a plus.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
