Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for exceptional product marketing managers with the experience necessary to plan and execute initiatives that will drive growth in key markets. Partnering with the product, sales, and engineering organizations, PMMs set positioning and strategy, drive customer insights, develop key messaging, and manage product launches and campaigns to maximize the product’s potential. With the ability to strongly impact both the company and the industry, PMMs must have the skills to succeed in a fast-paced startup environment and execute independently on a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user, market, and competitive research to better understand Dropbox users and the competitive market landscape
  • Develop strategy to position Dropbox Pro in the market and articulate its value through customer facing messaging
  • Run beta testing with customers to create feedback loop for product
  • Create inbound and outbound campaigns focused on customer acquisition and net new ACV
  • Plan and execute launches for new product updates, including:
  • Leading a cross-functional execution team comprised of product, eng, PR, legal, sales, and support
  • Development of key market facing messages: blog posts, web messaging, social media, PR messaging and materials
  • Create customer and prospect message and collateral, including product webinars and educational videos
  • Conduct trainings of internal teams on key messaging and product

Requirements

  • 3+ years product marketing experience (consumer technology experience preferred)
  • Project management skills: can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward, working across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
  • Analytical skills: analyze user data and implement appropriate tracking to measure marketing success
  • Cross-functional leadership: demonstrated ability to work closely with product, engineering, PR, Biz Dev, design, sales, support, and legal teams
  • Understanding of brand development, including voice and visual branding
  • Ability to manage creative agencies within budget and time constraints
