Email Marketing Manager

Dropbox is looking for a Email Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in building our global demand generation effort. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing global upsell email campaigns to drive our users to adopt premium products. The ideal candidate is a self starter with a deep understanding of email as a demand generation lever and the tools and systems necessary for success. Proven track record in customer acquisition, A/B testing frameworks, and ability to make data-driven decisions are a must, and the ideal candidate has experience deploying high-volume campaigns with high frequency.

Responsibilities

  • Design hypotheses, tests, and experiments for upsell and cross-sell email experiments for customer acquisition
  • Own email strategy from end-to-end: audience segmentation, content and messaging, email design, and campaign execution
  • Scale and grow email campaigns globally
  • Leverage user behavior and segmentation to develop targeted lead-gen email campaigns
  • Work with analytics and operations team to develop processes, reporting and data-driven feedback loop for growth and efficiency
  • Advise on technology and infrastructure needs to scale high volume, high frequency campaigns
  • Work cross functionally with the product marketing and campaigns, engineering, product, and design

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in online marketing. Minimum 1-2 year experience in an operational email marketing role.
  • Self starter, passion for building and solving problems, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strategic thinker that can drive hypothesis to execution to results
  • Experience in other online marketing channels (ads, retargeting, display, SEO) and web/email design a plus
  • Experience at a B2B, SaaS, or business with freemium model a plus
