The Finance team is responsible for developing and executing on Dropbox's financial strategy and is hiring world-class employees to tackle the challenges ahead of us. As part of the Finance team, you'll have broad exposure to various teams within Dropbox, including business operations, legal, and sales, and also will interact with a number of external business partners.

Responsibilities

  • You will work cross-functionally with the Strategic Finance, Product and Engineering, Accounting and Sales teams to design and implement analytical and reporting solutions around Dropbox’s financial operations activities.
  • Influence the strategy and direction of Dropbox’s financial analyses by identifying high-impact problems and opportunities, and effectively communicating actionable data-driven solutions
  • Create and maintain scalable analyses and reports to track key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to the business
  • Help shape and drive the development of automating Dropbox's financial analytics and reporting
  • Own and maintain daily and weekly email data distributions to key business partners summarizing key metrics
  • Build and evolve key metric reporting as Dropbox scales business operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other Quantitative field (e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics).
  • High level of proficiency in SQL and some development experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Experience with business intelligence, information visualization, and manipulating large data sets
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Team player, problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity, creative
  • Demonstrated success presenting complex data (qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
