The Infrastructure Finance team leverages a combination of data and business insight to improve strategic and financial decision-making in one of our most critical cross-functional focus areas. You’ll develop a deep understanding of key business drivers and a unique vantage point in prioritizing the company’s biggest challenges. Expect to work closely with the Infrastructure and Finance teams. Analytical rigor and strategic thinking are a must, but we’ll also need you to get your hands dirty to help drive real, sustainable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage prior technology infrastructure experience (server, storage, datacenter, network) and conduct analyses to help Dropbox make investment decisions
  • Provide financial support for sourcing initiatives in various areas of the infrastructure supply chain (IAAS providers, real estate, equipment, commodities, and services)
  • Support the development of robust, well-controlled, and scalable financial processes in collaboration with the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Infrastructure Operations teams
  • Support the development and management of a long-term infrastructure capacity model
  • Develop and report against infrastructure forecasts, and measure performance to plan; provide detailed explanations for period-over-period and actual-to-plan variances
  • Work with Corporate FP&A to provide infrastructure-specific input for company budgets and forecasts
  • Manage and support the reporting of key financial and operating metrics

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in an Infrastructure Finance role at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience at top-tier investment bank, PE/VC/hedge fund, or consulting firm a plus
  • Expert in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (Hyperion, TM1); working knowledge of SQL and ERP Systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure-specific US GAAP concepts (fixed assets, FMV, and capital leases)
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from a top-tier university
