Apply exceptional technical, communication, and organizational skills to help secure integrated partnerships with a range of partner types, from web services to mobile applications and device manufacturers to access providers
Help identify and qualify partnership opportunities, identify key partner technical objections and requirements, and develop strategies to resolve technical impediments
Provide technical consulting services for and support implementations of Dropbox’s APIs to optimize success of partner applications; create repeatable and scalable programs for onboarding new partners
Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of internal and external audiences, including marketing and business development professionals and engineers
Build and lead a technical partner management team by recruiting world-class team members to capitalize on the potential of Dropbox
Requirements
Mobile or desktop application development experience in Java, Python, or C++ and/or partner or sales engineering experience; business development or management consulting experience a plus
Strong business knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to adapt to audiences' technical comfort level when presenting technical materials to large groups
Collaborative team-player who can successfully project manage and execute across a variety of teams
Highly detail-oriented while being able to prioritize effectively
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline (or non-technical discipline with significant professional software engineering experience)
