Strategic Partner Development

Partnerships Team | San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities

  • Source, structure, negotiate, and execute complex growth, monetization, and product partnerships with long-term mutual alignment
  • Proactively develop and manage a partnership pipeline of web, mobile apps, software, hardware, retail, access, and other companies
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and executive teams to define product priorities and roadmap
  • Drive cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Design, Marketing, Product, etc.) to complete deal objectives
  • Identify key stakeholders and build relationships and credibility within partner organizations
  • Represent Dropbox at technology industry events, in relevant press and in media
  • Recruit world-­class team members to capitalize on the tremendous potential of Dropbox

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development or related work experience with a leading technology company; consumer and enterprise cloud services and/or mobile business development experience a plus
  • Undergraduate degree from top university with outstanding academic performance; technical major (e.g., EE, CS) a plus
  • Exceptional track record of closing impactful, foundational growth and/or revenue partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive consensus cross-functionally across all management levels
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to creatively influence tech/nontech audiences
  • Highly analytical with an ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
  • Strong propensity to take initiative and thrive on change and ambiguity
  • Extensive network in the technology community and an ability to build external relationships
