The Legal, Policy and Trust, Safety & Security team helps keep users and their stuff safe, protects Dropbox, counsels Dropboxers on challenging problems, and is always synced with the other teams here.

We deal with novel issues every single day -- from negotiating complex partnerships, implementing IP strategies reflecting our engineering culture, and protecting Dropbox from legal risk while allowing the company and the product to grow. We also weigh in on important policy issues to make sure that the law keeps pace with how people use technology to make their lives better.
