Analyst Relations

Communications Team | San Francisco, CA

We’re looking for a communications rockstar to strengthen our relationships with industry analysts to help the world understand the role Dropbox plays for both individuals and businesses. You will play a critical role in sharing the ins-and-outs of Dropbox with market research firms and other industry analysts to build awareness for Dropbox. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with our product, marketing, and sales teams to proactively shape public perception of Dropbox and our products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute analyst relations strategies for consumer and enterprise markets with leading firms such as Gartner, Forrester, GigaOm Research, etc.
  • Manage industry analyst relationships by tracking focus areas, contacts, sentiment toward Dropbox, and upcoming developments
  • Develop tools and talking points for the Dropbox team prior to analyst briefings
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to amplify impact of business announcements and new product features and launches
  • Liaise with analysts and coordinate relations as Dropbox internal point of contact

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of communications or account management experience, ideally with specific experience in the tech industry, research analysis and/or analyst relations, or high-touch client management
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with industry analysts and research firms and ability to navigate toward positive outcomes
  • Passion for growing and promoting tech brands with a deep understanding of the tech industry landscape
  • Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Analytical problem-solver with exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, flexibility and sense of humor
