Sync API and Datastore API 2.1 release

Posted by Steve Marx on February 07, 2014

This week, we released brand new versions of the iOS, OS X, and Android SDKs for the Sync API and the Datastore API. The new versions contain a few great new features:

  • The OS X SDK is now out of beta and ready for production use.
  • The HTTP stacks used on iOS and OS X were rewritten to support connection reuse, which should improve performance in apps that frequently download files.
  • Connections to Dropbox use stricter SSL security settings.
  • There are a number of other bug fixes and improvements, including fixes to prevent namespace conflict issues.

Get the new Sync API and Datastore API SDKs now. As always, we'd love to hear your comments and feedback on the developer forum.
